Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown for 360/PS3 Next Summer

Sega has announced that Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown, a downloadable edition of VF5 for PS3 and Xbox 360, will be available sometime next Summer. They will also make it available to play this week at PAX. The game will have all sorts of additional features and be, essentially, the definitive version of the game. It will mark the return of Virtua Fighter 3′s sumo wrestler Taka-Arashi, as well as a new fighter name Jean Kujo.

GameSpot has an interview with a Sega rep on their site this morning. Click on the link below for the full interview.

Monster World IV Finally Coming Westward!!!

Sega has announced that they are (finally) bringing Monster World IV to the western world. The Mega Drive Action/RPG game follows in the footsteps of the later games in the series and, at least I’ve always heard, it’s friggin’ sweet. The game will be made available for PSN and XBLA in North America, and there is a confirmed release in Europe for the Virtual Console. No word yet on the North American VC release, but that’s Nintendo for you.

Monster World IV

Perhaps I won’t be the only Sega fanboy and 80s/90s child to be this excited…
