From EGM, we learn that Sega has sold over 350,000 digital copies of their classic Sega Genesis & Mega Drive games since the hub’s relaunch.
“350,000 sales is a phenomenal achievement for content which is over 20 years old,” said James Schall, director of digital distribution for Sega of Europe, in a press release. “It shows that there’s still a huge following out for the Sega Mega Drive and Genesis, reinvigorated by the fantastic community of modders out there uploading great content.”
It’s not clear if number is the total of individual games or is a mix of individual games and bundled games sales.
