Hip Interactive has been named the exclusive Canadian distributor of Sega video games. The agreement between the two companies gives Hip’s wholly owned division, SJS Group, responsibility for all Sega distribution in the country. The deal will reportedly generate approximately $15 to $20 million of revenue for Hip in this fiscal year.

Hip has been a Sega partner before, distributing brands like Sonic and Sega Sports. Going forward, Sega and SJS will embark upon a major advertising campaign, which will include television and other media across Canada.
