Sakura Taisen: Atsuki Chishio Ni Overview

Sakura Taisen: Atsuki Chishio Ni (サクラ大戦 熱き血潮に) is a remake of the original Sega Saturn Sakura Taisen. The original story is intact with a few new scenarios, but loads of changes have been made to the game. Along with entirely redone assets, some improvements introduced to the battle system and LIPs in Sakura Taisen 3: Paris wa Moeteiru ka and Sakura Taisen 4: Koi Seyo, Otome have been implemented here.

Atsuki Chishio Ni was originally planned for a worldwide release as part of the “Sakura Taisen World Project,” but those plans were eventually shelved. It wouldn’t be until Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love‘s release in North America in 2010 that an English Sakura Taisen game would finally be released.
