SegaNerds has posted another interview, this time with Sumo Digital Producer Steve Lycett. In it, Lycett discusses Sumo’s history of working with Sega as a partner, Outrun 2, and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed.

One of the most interesting things that Lycett talks about is how Sega handles it’s IP. For Sumo to get things approved, they have to go through a single individual in Sega that handles that specific IP. So, essentially, every franchise has it’s own champion or walking resource. This is a really cool change from most publishers, who collectively make such decisions.
