I’m Back – Back and Ready!

Featured Video Play Icon

It’s been roughly a month since my last upload of any kind due to real life commitments. Here’s a short video to announce my return!

New videos coming shortly. I’ve been mulling over how to break the seal on this return and decided to just make it happen! I hope some of you old farts get a kick out of Ray Wise or the Shinobi stuff.

See you again soon!

SegaFans VS – A new wave in entertainment

Today I bring you several new videos on a brand new page – and I’m calling it SegaFans VS. The name makes perfect sense because these videos are matches between members of our fine community.

As you may remember, some time ago I posted a replay video of a Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution match between Skeearmon and myself. It was well received, and so I decided to make more videos of a similar theme. Turbos and I faced off over the weekend in fierce matches on two of our favourite Saturn games and some of those matchups have now been posted and await your download.

You’ll see 3 matches in Baku Baku and 4 bouts of Twinkle Star Sprites as well as the classic VF4:Evo match from many weeks ago.

At any rate, it was nice having a weekend off as that doesn’t happen often in retail. It was even nicer being able to spend it playing video games instead of having to run a whole bunch of errands & things.

In other news, I didn’t watch the Super Bowl, but I heard the Patriots won.

While it’s not 100% Sega related, Robert’s Anime Corner Store is having a huge sale on a lot of their merchandise – clearing out some stuff for good it seems. There are some right fantastic deals there, including the original version Serial Experiments Lain boxset for a mere $37.98 insteadl of $97.98. If you’re only into Sega-based anime, fear not. They have a Sakura Wars DVD on sale for $5.98 instead of $19.98. Bob is the best in the business when it comes to customer service, and everything on his site is legit stuff, no bootlegs to be found. So check it out, you might find something that interests you.

Webmaster Missing, 7 Injured, Cases Permanently Destroyed

After someone – sources close to the story say it was none other than the man they call ‘ryan81’ – mentioned that it’d been an entire month since his last update, Chakan, webmaster of Sega CDX, went on a huge rampage. 7 small children were injured and a whopping 2 dozen Saturn game cases were permanently destroyed when this normally calm webmaster ‘freaked out.’

One witness, who wishes to remain anonymous, described the scene for us:

Normally, this Chakan guy’s a nice, young adult. But recently, he’s been getting really weird, tossing proposals about dramatic site re-workings and such. But, man, today was just so… grizzly. I mean, I haven’t seen such a riot since my wife made me go see that last Chevy Chase movie. Shit, I remember I turned over a car and lit my cat on fire…

The witness continued rambling, so we’ll just cut him off there. An investigation is underway. What will become of Sega CDX?!?

Into Dreams…

I decided that since ClassicGaming and GameSpy have given me such great treatment since I’ve been hosted by them, that I’d move my NiGHTS Into Dreams… fan site over to their servers. I also decided to do a little bit of cleanup work on the site itself. Enjoy. :)

Forums Are a Success

After only being open for a month and 9 days, my forums hit their 1000th post. The lucky poster was our loyal forum moderator Shentar. Click here to see a screen capture.

Thanks to revolver for the screen cap, and thanks to everyone for so much support this time around! :D

New Addittion

No, I’m not talking about the band New Edition, I’m talking about the new Site Updates column to the right. It’ll host the little things like when pages are updated, that way I don’t have to waste space or come up with phrases to put around stuff like “oh yeah, I got around to updating the Flossing section!” What do you think? Tell me in the Forums!
