Atlus has posted a new Odin Sphere Leifthrasir Storybook trailer to Youtube.
We know you’ve been patiently and eagerly waiting for a new trailer from us, and you’d be happy to know that the wait is over! We have the first official English trailer for Odin Sphere Leifthrasir that showcases Vanillaware’s lavishly redrawn art and masterfully improved gameplay in full HD glory. No joke, the tragic fairy tale looks like poetry in motion running in 1080p/60fps. See for yourself below!
If you’re familiar with Vanillaware and George Kamitani, you’d know that their games contain some of the most stunning and unique visuals in the industry. The aesthetics in Odin Sphere Leifthrasir are no exception. As I mentioned earlier, the team at Vanillaware redrew the art by hand to make it look as perfect as possible in the HD remake. I mean did you see how freaking gorgeous the trailer was?
Unfortunately, it’s hard to truly observe the visual design of the game while trying to, you know, save the entire world. If only there was some way to just sit down and appreciate the game’s art like the cultured aesthete that you are… WELL PRAISE ODIN! The Odin Sphere Leifthrasir Artworks art book will let you do just that! Take a closer look at the characters, NPCs, lands, dungeons, items, and, of course, food that populate the lands of beautiful Erion. I would love to describe the sophisticated contents of the art book more, but I think actually seeing some pages from it would help give you a better picture.
In addition to the trailer, they’ve posted this preview of the Artworks artbook that you can see below!
OS:L comes to North America on June 7th of this year, as we reported earlier. If you can’t wait, you can order the Japanese version from Play-Asia, but if you can, you can pre-order it from Amazon here.
